We high highly recommend Charma Band to everyone – when getting let down by another band 3 days before our wedding due to not meeting the Covid vaccine requirements Charma stepped in to play and we are so, so grateful, they we absolutely brilliant – just a great vibe, great range of music and a great group of guys to deal with. (& inviting my 12-year-old son up on stage to play a song on the bass with the band was an amazing experience for him and us).

Charma were an excellent band for our wedding. We had high expectations but Tere and the crew far exceeded those expectations. Great people, professional and had everyone up on the dance floor. Truebliss recently had the pleasure of spontaneously playing alongside the band Charma at a very auspicious occasion in beautiful Dunedin. 

The band are fun, professional and engaging especially prevalent since we had no previous rehearsal time yet we jammed together like we’d performed together for years! Testament to their skills!! 

 

I would recommend Charma to uplift and add value for any occasion anytime and we personally look forward to the opportunity to entertaining audiences together again sometime!

 I am pleased to recommend the Charma Band for any function you may have . We recently  had the band play at a significant birthday party held at Toitu , They were excellent performers , the music was perfect and very pleasant . They played easy listening ,blues for the first hour or so to allow people to mingle and chat and then  had a break to allow for speeches . They then got the crowd going and dancing .  Their performance was professional and polished . In musical terms they were a very tight  t and  the volume was such that guests could chat all night and not be drowned out .  . I can highly recommend this band .

Can I just say WOW!, we first saw you at our dear friends 60th, there was a diverse range of people there all ages all different styles but the whole yacht club was dancing! You let us feel like we were part of the band including us in the singing! I tell that night my now husband and I made the decision we needed you guys to play our wedding! I am so glad we managed to secure you for our reception because you did it again! 130 people all dancing... every single one of them... all night! Gavin and I would most definitely recommend Charma for any type of function. We recently celebrated our marriage and from the first email to the wedding reception everything went smoothly in terms of communication and organisation of the band. This made our day so much more enjoyable. We requested specific songs were played at our reception as we were making up a CD for our guests to take home with some of the music played that night. Charma we more than happy to learn the music we requested and even learnt our wedding song. Sorry about the late reply but we were away on our honeymoon. We really enjoyed the whole experience, right from the start it was an easy simple process. On the night they were all set up and ready to go when we needed. It was great having the use of their microphone for speeches etc. They played our first dance song which was good to have played live. We really enjoyed the limbo competition they put on for the guests and everyone loved it ! All night there were people dancing as the hits just kept on coming. We would highly recommend Charma Band and we are so glad we choose them for our wedding.
